The Aspire Global board of executives is recommending that its investors take a purchase offer from NeoGames. The current bid? 111.00 Swedish Krona for each share, which converts to about $12.29 USD.
This all began back on January 17th, 2022 when NeoGames initially indicated they were interested in purchasing Aspire Global. They presented an official public proposal to buy all available shares of the business in a cash and equity transaction.
Aspire Global released a notice emphasizing that their primary stakeholders have already entered into binding contracts to transfer their portions of the company to NeoGames at that 111.00 Krona valuation. Given that the stock finished at 78.5 Krona, that represents a considerable increase of 41%.
Experts in the field approximate this puts Aspire Global’s worth somewhere between five hundred million and six hundred million US dollars.
Tsachi Maimon, Aspire Global’s Chief Executive Officer, stated: “Aspire Global has developed into a top provider in the regulated gaming sector, delivering a comprehensive solution. This prospective merger with NeoGames, following our purchases of Btobet and Pariplay, our latest investment in bingo, and the separation of our B2C segment, would rapidly advance us. Should all proceed smoothly, NeoGames will acquire Aspire Global’s distinctive offerings. Rest assured, Aspire Global is not going anywhere. They will maintain their current operations as the iGaming division within the expanded organization. And the most favorable aspect? All employees retain their positions! Maimon will remain at the helm of Aspire Global and will even ascend to the prominent role of President for the entire NeoGames group.
