Stoke City FC Announces bet365 Stadium Naming Rights and Jersey Sponsorship Deal

The Stoke City Football Club has secured a major sponsorship agreement with bet365, a prominent international gaming enterprise. Commencing in the upcoming season, the team’s home venue will be designated as “bet365 Stadium”.

This multi-year contract, spanning six seasons, encompasses more than just stadium naming rights. It solidifies bet365’s role as the club’s jersey sponsor for a minimum of three additional seasons. This collaboration is a natural fit, given that both the football entity and bet365 are under the ownership of the Coates family.

Tony Scholes, the Chief Executive of Stoke City, highlighted the significance of this agreement for the club’s fiscal well-being and ability to remain competitive within the increasingly demanding Premier League landscape. The stadium’s former name, “Britannia”, will be phased out, symbolizing the conclusion of an era and the start of a fresh chapter in partnership with bet365.

bet365 has gained remarkable worldwide recognition through our jersey sponsorship with the team,” stated John Coates, bet365 Joint-CEO and Stoke City Vice-Chairman. “Growing our collaboration with the bet365 Stadium naming rights agreement was a logical progression, particularly since Stoke-on-Trent is the headquarters of bet365.”
